Reims or « Cité des Sacres » (« Coronation City») in the Champagne-Ardenne region

Reims is an iconic city for wine and spirits. With 1.1 million inhabitants, it is the largest city and the first economic platform for the Champagne-Ardenne region (France’s first agricultural region and fourth industrial region). Famous for its world-renowned wine and leading industry (production, packaging, transports and services), Reims has also a reputation for its art-deco style and an architectural heritage.
Reims Cathedral, a sacred place where the kings of France were crowned, the Palais du Tau and the old Abbey of Saint-Remi have all been Unesco World heritage sites since 1991. The Champagne hills, wine houses and wine cellars are now in the running to be ranked as such in the future.
Reims is also known for its top educational system and is hosting around 35,000 students (« Sciences Po », Centrale, Neoma Business School, the reputable Packaging Engineering Institute and Reims’ prestigious School of Art and Design)
Home to world-famous Champagne wine, Reims is also France’s first gastronomic platform.
Its location at the centre of the EU market (near Paris, Lille, Lyon, Strasbourg, Bruxelles, Aix-la-Chapelle) makes Reims and its Exhibition Centre (Parc des Expositions) a strategic venue for large public or professional events including events dedicated to independent winegrowers.
Reims is near the town of Epernay, the Champagne wine’s “capital” located in the heart of the vineyards. Epernay is the starting point to various touristy routes with the “Avenue de Champagne”; an idyllic setting for the most prestigious wine in the world!
Additionally, Epernay is renowned for the Rallye Epernay Vins de Champagne. It is home to important institutions such as the Interprofessional Commitee for Champagne Wine (CIVC), the General Association of Champagne Winegrowers (SGV) and various Champagne societies

In 2014, annual turnover for Champagne wine reached 4.5 billion euros (2.5 billion euros for exportations and 305 million bottles produced)

It is in such a glorious and world-renowned setting that we are delighted to welcome you to attend this unprecedented event dedicated to the luxury packaging and marketing of wine and spirits!
A specific focus will be made on innovations, new trends and business opportunities.
